Michael Corkery, Founding Partner and CEO

Michael Corkery is the founder and CEO of Oakstone Companies. Michael is responsible for the firm’s operations and is actively involved in working with the management of portfolio companies. He works closely with management to pursue new business opportunities and to set strategic direction and financial goals.

Mike has many years of experience working as an owner of middle market companies. He has extensive board-level and strategic planning experience to drive growth organically and strategically through acquisitions. Michael currently sits on the boards of directors of all the portfolio companies.

Prior to founding Oakstone Holdings, Michael was President and owner of Pool Guard Manufacturing. He was also employed at Franklin Templeton Investments for over ten years and was last Director of Customer Service. Prior to joining Franklin Templeton Investments Michael was COO for Polen Capital Management. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Canisius College.

 

Danielle Corkery, Managing Partner/SVP

Danielle Corkery is Senior Vice President of Oakstone Companies. Danielle has many years of experience working as an owner of middle market companies and 20 years of professional business experience with Van Huesen and Verizon Wireless where she served in the role of sales manager. Her areas of expertise and responsibilities range from human resources, management and risk management to purchasing and accounting.

 

Jason Nash, Managing Director

Jason joined our executive team in 2009 as Vice President of Sales with Pool Guard Manufacturing. He has an extensive background in sales and sales distribution development in domestic and international markets from both the strategic and day-to-day operational aspects. Jason has held an array of positions in his career, all focusing on building and developing sales and distribution models with an eye toward cost efficiency for products ranging from consumer to medical devices in domestic and international markets.

Jason began his career with Philip Morris USA where he maintained a consistent track record of sales increases associated with progressive cost containment. His last position with Philip Morris was Regional Sales Logistics Manager for the southeastern United States where he managed an annual budget of $10 million. Jason then transitioned into pharmaceutical sales with Shire Pharmaceuticals where he earned an extensive list of awards and accolades, ranging from process improvement to sales training and president’s club awards. These successes ultimately launched him into medical device sales. As area sales manager for Cynosure aesthetic lasers, he managed $3 million in sales annually. His responsibilities ranged from appropriation of equipment financing to coordinating implementation of medical devices in doctor’s offices and hospitals as well as managing the sales portfolio of equipment.

Jason graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Communications.
